Honoring Brian Kingsbury
Brian was born on April 3rd, 1966, in Los Angeles, California to Albert and Kathleen Kingsbury. He lived in Los Angeles until the age of eight before moving to Orange County, California. Upon graduating high school, Brian moved to Oregon where he lived for one year with his aunt and uncle. It was at that time in his life that Brian came to know the Lord.
Brian returned to California shortly thereafter where he met the love of his life, Yolanda. Brian and Yolanda were married in 1988. They remained in Orange County for the next five years then relocated to the Nashville area. Brian spent several years working in the computer information technology field before moving into working as a computer consultant.
Brian was an active member of Brentwood Baptist Church – both in the hearing and deaf communities. His love for people and the Lord culminated in a variety of activities ranging from media to missions. Brian was a renaissance man able to excel at anything he tried. Brian was a loving husband, a devoted father, a family man, a technology buff, a visionary, a music lover, a comedian and had a great passion for life. He will be truly missed by all.
Brian is survived by his wife, Yolanda Kingsbury and sons Ethan and Adam of Brentwood; father, Albert Kingsbury and wife Sharon; mother, Kathy Kingsbury; sister, Kristin Houle and brothers, Bill Hughes and Eric Kingsbury.
Brian spent his professional career as a senior consultant for Microsoft.
