“Anne, I am sorry to learn of the loss of your mom. She was a great teacher making even a subject like geometry come alive. I remember her smile and laugh added so much to the classroom and to our scholastic scrimmage practices. Sending prayers to your family. Rebecca Sharp Decker”

“I'm sorry to hear of Mrs. Hoyal's passing. She inspired me to major in math and I went on to get a PhD in statistics. I remembered her often during my education and still thought of her as one of the best teachers I ever had. She kindly sent a congratulatory letter to me when I completed my PhD and I still have it. My condolences to her family.”

“Andy and Anne, I just learned of your mother’s passing this morning. She and your dad were the ones who encouraged me to be part of the Community Chorus in Athens. She was a sweet friend when I went through a divorce. She always had your dad’s back (who was my principal at Mt View) but she made sure he saw the other side as well. Many fond memories will remain with me. May your memories help you through this time. Karen Siklosi”

“Andy and Anne, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I remember the last time I spoke with her in Englewood, she showed me pictures of Andy, his wife and son. She was so proud of you Andy. May your strength prevail to help you through this difficult time. Remember too, that Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Death takes the body. God takes the soul. Our mind holds the memories. Our heart keeps the love. Our faith lets us know we will meet again.”

“Mrs Hoyal was one of the toughest teachers I ever had. Luckily, I liked tough teachers. I am so sorry to hear of her death. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. ??”

“Anne and Andy, Peggy was a dear friend and a special lady. She was a consolation when I lost my husband almost forty years ago. She has touched my life in many ways. She will be missed. Peggy was a fantastic teacher and was respected by all her students. They were well prepared for college math because of her expertise. Her influence will live on. Anne Catron”

“We are saddened to hear of Ms. Hoyles passing. We were so very blessed to have both of them as neighbors for so many years. Their example has had a huge impact in our lives. She and Mr. Hoyle were so kind to us. We pray for your family as you grieve, that the Lord will give you strength and comfort.”
